KOAN - GAME OF LIFE

go to german version

KOAN - GAME OF LIFE

is a life's work - in every sense of the word.

On display are around 200 photographs, photo collages, graphics, audio files and texts from Sven's childhood to the present day, which combine to form 22 consecutive works of art to tell a story about life.

KOAN means public notice and in ZEN Buddhism refers to a short dialog between master and disciple to help the student dissolve the self in order to achieve awareness.

KOAN - GAME OF LIFE is based on the idea that life is a game. In it, the character Someone makes contact with his player SAH and experiences awareness.

Someone embodies the artist, Sven. His artworks are symbols of his 22 levels of awareness. It is Someone's understanding of SAH's Zen.
